NEW FOR 2024:

NEW REFRIGERATORS & FREEZERS!

Faith Cafe thanks the Oregon Food Bank for awarding Faith Cafe a $2,600.00 grant that enabled us to purchase new much needed refrigerators and freezers!

INFORMATION ABOUT THE GRANT: Faith Cafe applied for a revolving Oregon Food Bank Network Support Funds Grant for the fiscal year of 2024-2025. The award can be up to $5,000 per applicant. It is a meant to support operations and programs that work to intentionally address inequities faced by people most impacted by food insecurity.

These are the areas of need that this grant addresses: expanding access, investing in resources and urgent needs. We were awarded approximately $2,600 to address our urgent need of replacing the freezers and refrigerators that were at least 15 years old and falling apart. We were able to purchase 2 larger capacity freezers and 2 larger refrigerators. This is great security for what we do every week of the year.

THANK YOU NOVOGRADAC! On Wednesday, October 18, 2023, 9:30 am – 2:30 pm, an amazing volunteer group came and did a much-needed update to our Faith Cafe Storage Pantry! Emily Gruppmann, Office Administrator & NOVOGRADAC organized this project! Six incredible volunteers from NOVOGRADAC cleaned and repainted our FC closet! They also made many new placemats for our guests!  

Our Kim and Steve stayed and waxed the floor and then put everything back.  They were there until after 6:30!
